However, you don’t know which planner would suit your teaching needs the best? That is okay! We want you to absolutely LOVE your teacher planner, therefore keep reading as we compare the difference between the daily and weekly teacher planners that are currently available.
The Daily Planner – Teacher Planner: Daily vs Weekly
Let’s start with the most noticeable difference between the daily and weekly teacher planners and that is…the layout.
The daily planner includes one page per day whereas the weekly planner includes five days (Monday-Friday) across two pages. The daily teacher planner has been designed to be quite spacious which allows teachers the room to carefully plan out each lesson, jot down any extra notes and/or reminders. Whereas, the weekly teacher planner has been designed with a minimal layout which allows teachers to jot down key notes for each lesson.

The best teacher planner comes down to how you like to plan out your lessons…
Ultimately, the best teacher planner comes down to how you like to plan out your lessons. If you prefer to plan in-depth lessons where you have the space to write down every step, the daily planner is perfect for you! However, if you prefer to jot down key notes for each lesson then the weekly planner is for you!
Which teacher planner do I prefer?
Personally, I love using the daily planner the best. I don’t always plan out every detail of my lesson however, I love having the space and option to write down any extra notes, jot down homework and reminders for each lesson. Yes, the daily planner is heavier, however once it is on my teacher desk it very rarely moves.
I hope this has helped you with your teacher planner decision. If you’re still unsure as to which one would best suit your teaching needs then feel free to contact The Daily Planner team via email or Instagram.
